How we teach

apasmarkets is an education site run by Apas Ventures LLC, which also runs apasmath.com and apaslingo.com. We teach. We do not trade for you, advise you, or take your money to invest.

Every number is worked out

The calculations in our lessons come from our own mathematics engine, not from typing. Facts about real companies come from their filings with the SEC, and each lesson says which filing.

Real companies in lessons, invented ones in practice

You learn to read real reports from real companies, because that is a skill you can use. The practice market uses invented companies and generated prices, so that nothing in it can be taken for a view on a real share.

The practice market has limits, and we say so

Its prices come from a model built for teaching, so it can teach you orders, options and risk. It cannot show that a strategy would work in real markets, and doing well in it does not predict doing well with real money.

What we are not

We are not a broker or an investment adviser. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Any real trade is your own decision and your own risk.
